About Flux Clinical Nutrition

Flux Clinical Nutrition is a Melbourne-based online practice offering personalised, evidence-based consultations - accessible to clients across Australia via Telehealth.

We support human health through the lens of fertility and healthy ageing, specialising in preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum care, perimenopause and menopause, andropause, and general wellbeing and healthspan. Every consultation is designed to meet you where you are, and evolve as your needs do.

The name Flux speaks to something fundamental about being human. Our bodies are always changing. From one season of life to the next, the way we nourish and care for ourselves should change too. At Flux, that means tailored, science-backed guidance for every age and stage of life, delivered with the understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to health.

Meet our Clinical Nutritionist, Candice Stevens

Hello, I'm Candice, the clinical nutritionist behind Flux.

I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) and I am a registered member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) - a registration body in the natural therapies industry, which ensures practitioners uphold the highest standards of education, safety, and ethics.

My approach is simple - evidence-based care, delivered with empathy and tailored entirely to you. I started Flux with the belief that clinical nutrition should feel as personal as it is evidence-based, and that every client deserves their treatment to be built around their unique health history, goals, and season of life. Before anything else, I believe in laying the right foundations, because when the basics are done well, they have the power to support your health through every age and stage, and meaningfully improve your healthspan (the years of life spent in good health).

I can’t wait to support you to navigate and thrive through every age and stage of your life. Let’s get started.

Our Process

At Flux Clinical Nutrition, effective care starts with taking the time to get to know you, not just your symptoms, but your health history, your lifestyle, and what you're hoping to achieve. We take a holistic approach, looking at the full picture before we develop your treatment plan.

Every journey with us begins with a thorough initial consultation, where we ask the right questions and get to the root of your health concerns. From there, we organise any relevant testing, whether that's blood work or functional testing, to give us the context we need to make informed, targeted decisions about your care.

Your personalised treatment plan is built on this foundation, evidence-based and practical, with strategies designed to fit your real life. These may include dietary changes such as trialling a new dietary pattern, adjusting macronutrient distribution, and providing targeted nutrient support. Additional strategies may include lifestyle modifications across sleep, exercise, and nervous system regulation, meal plans and recipes, practitioner-only supplementation, and referrals to allied health or medical professionals where appropriate. We stay with you throughout, refining your plan as your needs evolve.
